Natascha Dimitrov: Same here.
MM: Why the duck are you wearing white mascara ?!?!
ND: I think it is beautiful.

MM: Is it a part of the creative process for your new series „GODS IN WHITE I LES DIEUX EN BLANC“, where medicine meets art in form of paintings?
ND: That is an interesting question. Actually I didn’t think about that aspect, I am just intuitive. Of course I have my little „preparation rituals“, before I start with a new art project. Concerning „GODS IN WHITE I LES DIEUX EN BLANC“ it was pretty obvious for me, to thematize each medical field in a specific way. Which means, to put health itself in the center of interest, not only all the protagonists. „With the eyes of a doctor“ so to say...

MM: What is your intention?

ND: My respect for nature, for medicine, for art and the meaning of colors is deep. The intention of this new series is in general, to raise awareness for self-balance, for your soul, body, and the inner voice. In French „Monsieur le“ or „Madame la“ is a very polite form to describe a title, for example. In using „MADAME LA DENT“, „MONSIEUR LE COEUR“, or „MONSIEUR LE POUMON“, each part of the body and soul receive a special appreciation. And - I believe and I am feeling very often, that energy creates energy. If you feel comfortable and good with yourself, you are able to be kind to others.

MM: I understand. How do manage to work parallel on three series?
ND: This is right, at the same time I am working on „HAPPY PET SUPERSTARS“ as well as „MIZZ MARPLES Fête Du Citron – Hommage À Menton, Perle De La France“, and since christmas on this third topic – Oh Stop! - actually the project „MED x ART“ © Natascha Dimitrov started in 2018. Well I think, it is a question of focussing. Which means, WHEN I dedicate myself to a new painting, I do it with all of my heart and energy. Including the whole melody of my emotions. Sometimes I feel a little bit like the writer ‚Alexandre Dumas’ – according to legend, he felt that much with all of the protagonists coming out of his fantasy, that he even cried or laughed out loud with himself while writing his novels, which are world literature nowadays.

MM: What is you wish for today?

ND: May your wishes come true.
